Robin Colner, Founder and CEO

Robin is an acclaimed digital and social media marketing strategist, university educator and corporate trainer. An MBA graduate of The Wharton School of Business, Robin has more than 20 years of technology product development and direct and online marketing experience.

She has held senior marketing positions at leading advertising agencies such as McCann Erickson and Fortune 100 corporations including Citigroup and American Express.

Robin was inspired to start DigiStar by the widespread confusion about the use of social media and content marketing on the part of many companies. She is dedicated to helping businesses, professionals and entrepreneurs leverage social media to engage prospects, expand awareness and reach, attract new business, amplify the impact of advertising and public relations campaigns and implement successful integrated marketing programs.

robinquoteHer dedication to digital skills training led Robin to launch the Digital and Social Media Professional Certificate Program at Fordham University where she hires the teachers, structures the curriculum and teaches the social media classes. In addition, she teaches social media classes in Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business and its Professional Studies in New Media Department.

susanSusan Unger
Susan has a true passion for helping businesses grow their brands using digital marketing solutions.  As a social media community manager, she develops content strategies that focus on customer acquisition and retention. Susan works with clients to identify the most engaging and relevant content for their brands and then disseminates it across relevant social platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement and sales.

Susan has grown the social media presence for clients in multiple verticals including Jewelry, Health & Fitness, Interior Design and Consumer Package Goods companies. Susan also teaches Instagram Marketing to businesses through custom workshops.

Prior to becoming a social media manager, Susan spent over 17 years selling digital advertising for websites and leading publications, including Crain’s New York Small Business, Entrepreneur.com, BusinessWeek.com, and the WashingtonPost.com. While at BusinessWeek.com she was instrumental in developing solutions for small businesses including American Express Open, an innovative sponsored forum for entrepreneurial businesses.

Susan received her MBA in Managerial Marketing from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University.

As a digital content marketing specialist at DigiStar Media, Jack creates premium content, such as blogs, whitepapers, e-books and case studies to help businesses generate engagement, leads and sales. Jack is truly a Jack of all Digital Marketing Trades.

He is a graphic designer, experienced audio editor and videographer able to help clients create informative podcasts and live streaming videos.

Jack graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in psychology from SUNY Oneonta and received a Professional Certificate in Digital and Social Media Marketing at Fordham University.

Jack uses his background in psychology to create compelling content to influence consumer purchasing behavior. Jack’s passion for music has led him to work as a music producer for up and coming artists in his spare time. A Snapchatting millennial, Jack is ready and willing to create content that breaks through the noise and captures attention.
